FAQS
  • Is quartz stone countertop harmful to human body?
Quartz stone is composed of 85%-93% natural quartz and 7%-15% unsaturated polyester resin. It is a non-toxic, non-radiative material, making it an ideal choice for interior decoration. With advances in technology, we have now developed surfaces that are low or completely silica-free, offering enhanced safety for fabricators and customers.
  • What chemicals should quartz stone avoid contact with?
While quartz stone is highly durable, it can be damaged by strong chemicals and solvents. Avoid contact with products containing trichloroethane or dichloromethane, such as paint removers, furniture decolourisers, oven cleaners, and bleach-based products, as they may cause permanent discoloration and surface damage. If such substances come into contact with the surface, wipe them off immediately, rinse with water, and clean with a mild solution.
  • Do I need to apply a sealer to quartz stone?
Due to its non-porous nature, quartz stone does not require additional sealers. In fact, the use of sealers or other protective coatings is not recommended, as they may dull the surface.
  • Daily how to keep quartz stone clean as new?
Quartz stone is virtually maintenance-free and easy to clean. Everyday household stains, such as tea, coffee, lemon juice, soda, fruit, vegetable juice, olive oil or grease, can be easily removed to restore the surface to its original appearance. For daily cleaning, use a damp cloth with a mild soap solution, rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • How to clear stubborn stains on quartz stone surfaces?
For tougher stains or dried-on spills, use a non-abrasive scrub pad with a small amount of mild cleaner. Avoid steel wool or scouring pads. A gentle degreaser or dishwashing liquid can be used to break down grease. Rinse thoroughly afterward. For more information, please download our Stone Maintenance Guide.
